A complete and matching six-volume set of Le Christianisme présenté aux hommes du monde par Fénelon, in the second edition published in Paris, 1838. Compiled and arranged by M. l'Abbé Dupanloup, Vicaire Général de Paris and Supérieur du Séminaire Saint-Nicolas — one of the most influential Catholic educators of the 19th century.

The volumes are uniformly bound in original dark navy blue leather with richly decorated gilt-tooled spines featuring raised bands, ornamental panels, and gilt lettering reading Le Christianisme par Fénelon with volume numbers I through VI. Page edges are gilt throughout, giving the set a warm golden glow when stacked. A set that looks as distinguished on a shelf as it reads in the hand.

François de Salignac de la Mothe-Fénelon (1651–1715), Archbishop of Cambrai, was one of the great spiritual writers of the French classical tradition. His writings on mysticism, prayer, and Christian living remain among the most beloved in Catholic devotional literature. This compilation, assembled by Dupanloup for a lay readership, distils Fénelon's vast correspondence and spiritual writings into an accessible and elegant format.
